Day Membership & Trial Lessons
Day Membership is just one of the ways you can take a trial lesson.
Taking out a day membership could not be
easier.
Simply turn up at Pocklington Airfield and come round to the office or the hangar.
You will be directed to the launch point in use that day where you will find
'The Pheonix'. Report there, and your
name will be placed on the flying list.
You may have some time to wait if it is a very busy day, but our members
will always be happy to explain all about the different types of flight that
you can take.
If you wish to buy a trial lesson for someone else (the time of which is
bookable), you can buy a gift voucher.
Before each, your instructor will give you a full briefing on what to expect
and what will happen. When airborne you can even take control of the glider
yourself.
Day membership flights are designed to show
you how easy it is to fly a glider and that it is simple and inexpensive to
take up gliding seriously.
